How Can You Make the Most of a Rare Team Gathering?

The fine folks at Rank Really High (they provide e-commerce solutions for dispensaries) are rarely in the same room. Some live in Michigan, others in Minnesota, and a few are right here in Massachusetts. So when they were planning to bring everyone together for a big strategy session, they decided to take advantage of this rare occurrence.

They knew this gathering was more than just a time to refine their vision and cultivate their sense of community; it was an opportunity to capture the people behind their brand with fresh, professional headshots and a lighthearted group photo.

Headshots are often an afterthought, but they shouldn’t be. A cohesive, well-lit portrait makes your team look polished and approachable—whether they’re on LinkedIn, your website, or a proposal. And thanks to what I learned at ImagingUSA last week, I’ve refined my lighting setup to create the most flattering and consistent headshots possible. My focus is not just a technically strong photo, but one that captures the person’s real energy and expression (and yes, sometimes dad jokes are involved to help lighten the mood!).

Are you planning a company meeting soon? Let’s make sure you get more than just great ideas out of it—let’s capture the people behind them.

Oh, one more thing before I go.  Why don’t seagulls fly over the bay?

Because then they would be BAY-GULLS!!!  Bagels?  Get it?!?!?  Hee hee!!
